Workshop: Longitudinal data analysis in economics and social sciences

Description The workshop is relevant to researchers who come from different fields and who work with different kinds of longitudinal data. Slots are limited (20-25) and pre-registration is required. Staff and PhD students of the faculty are all eligible to participate in the workshop. Attendance is open to other persons if turnout permits.

Workshop schedule and topics:
  • July 18-19, 2005: Panel Data Econometrics (Prof. Dr. Bernhard Kittel, U Amsterdam), two day course, 12 hrs
  • July 20-21, 2005: Techniques of Event History Modelling (Dr. Katrin Golsch, U Cologne), two day course, 12 hrs
Tuition will be complemented by supervised computer lab work.
Funding The workshop is financed by the Centre for Empirical Research in the Economic and Social Sciences (CERESS).
